Our Services
Personal Care Support
Assistance with daily personal activities
This support category relates to assisting with and/or supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable the participant to live as autonomously as possible. These supports are provided individually to participants and can be provided in a range of environments, including but not limited to, the participant’s own home.
Generous Support provides ‘Assistance with Daily Personal Activities’ service to participants with a disability living alone in their own home, living with family or other people to make your life easy and comfortable when undertaking social, recreational, educational or employment activities or during holidays away from home with assistance and supervision of personal tasks of daily life.
Daily Life Tasks
Assistance With Daily Tasks/Shared Living focuses on developing and enhancing domestic skills that allow clients to live autonomously. It can also be delivered within shared living units or host family arrangements. In this arrangement, we provide one-on-one support, assist our participants with daily tasks while enhancing their independent living, support them with their self-care/personal hygiene as well as respite accommodation for those seeking short-term residency.
We also provide the following:
· One-to-one assistance with a carer.
· Assisting with daily tasks for independent living.
. Support for self-care, accommodation, and activities within a residency
· Providing short-term residency
· Arrange residency for transitioning to live independently
Household Tasks
For clients who may not be able to do household chores alone or who may need extra supervision. We break the household chore list into daily chore, weekly chores, and monthly chores, along with a selection on seasonal chores.
Support workers undertake the following tasks:
· Gardening maintenance,
· Cleaning, drying, washing, vacuuming, doing laundry, mopping and taking out the trash
· Preparing and planning meals
· Grocery shopping.
Maintaining a hygienic home environment can be fairly exhausting for some participant. A1 NDIS Support Services has well trained, and highly qualified staff that can work alongside you or independently assist you to maintain your desired living arrangement.
Community Participation
At , A1 NDIS , Support Services, we understand that Participants value their engagements with their communities, and that accessing their communities is paramount to maintaining their complete health and wellbeing.
Each Participant’s NDIS plan should aim to provide opportunities for participation in a range of activities.
Participants’ social lives are important to their wellbeing and community access support enables opportunities for such connections.
We strongly believe that by encouraging our clients to participate in community activities, it can improve their mental and physical wellbeing, as well as increasing their self-fulfillment, communication skills, and confidence.
